I run BW10 on Win10 through Parallels. When I click for Check for updates it crushes. Any ideas? Is there any way how to get updates manually? Thanks.

Installation Error
I get a positive notification for the IDP.ALEXA.51 virus when I try to reinstall BW10 revision 7 which I downloaded recently from the BW page. If I look this up it says it might be a false positive. Has anyone else run into this? What do I do?

Unable to download ISO file
i have a new computer coming this week and will want to install Bibleworks on it. I tried to download the ISO file and it failed after about 3 gb. I now get a message that it is not available as too many people have downloaded it. What can I do?

Questions about reinstalling BW10 when rebuilding a PC
First post on this forum, but a long term BW user, since BW6
My workstation has become corrupted and needs to be refreshed. I was told by BibleWorks when I purchased BW10 that I would not have to de-register the program before re-installing. If I'm wrong about this, please advise.
My bigger question is about program updates. At the present time, updates seem to be available even though BibleWorks is closed down. Do I need to, and is there a way to, capture program updates and store them somewhere local in the event updates will become unavailable over the internet? I'm not worried about this rebuild, but I can envision having to re-install BW10 at other points in the future and want to know if I should try at this time to preserve the updates as they become available and how I might do that.

Bibleworks did not start after windows 10 update
after the last windows 10 update bibleworks stopped working. The initial window appears loading the modules, but suddenly stops and does not continue launching the program. No error message appears. any idea what can be done? I have already uninstalled and installed again, but still have the same problem.

Analysis Window - VS1 and VS2 are blank
When I go to the Analysis Window and look and either VS1 or VS2, no matter what I choose there, the contents show as blank.
I can open an item, e.g. ESV Study Bible, by clicking on expand, but that's not as useful as working in the Analysis window
I am on Version 10.0.8.755, Windows 10 version 1903, build 18362.418
I have another installation on another PC, same BW version, same Windows version, that works fine, but this is my main PC. That indicates to me that possibly I've done something unwittingly that's causing this.

BibleWorks 9 (BW 9) Updates Not Found
I installed BibleWorks 9 and 'selected all' to apply the updates/patches. A few of them worked, but the rest return an error saying that the file couldn't be retrieved. When I checked the website, I found the links to download them manually didn't work either. Is there any way to get an ISO with the patches? Or any other way to get them?

Should I be taking steps to prepare for Bibleworks ultimately not working?
I love Bibleworks, and have years of saved notes on Bible passages and biblical topics. So I'm wondering how long I will have access to those, and if I should be taking steps now to save those for future use if and when Bibleworks stops working.
Or maybe I am over-reacting.

mapping file error
I am the happy owner and ardent user of BW10, and it is a most wonderful tool in my research.
However, when using BW10 on my laptop, I have recently struck upon a problem:
When I try to open the programme, a small window appears: Mapping file error in OTP and then follows a reference to (maybe) a Qumran text. The programme startup ends here, and the programme will not start up.
Do you have an idea of what I can do to get around this error message?

Is the checksum for BW10_rev7.iso listed anywhere? I'd like to ensure that there's no problems before I try installing. I searched for checksum in the forum but didn't find anything.

download page link for downloading Bibleworks 10
My son purchased Bibleworks 10 several years ago while attending seminary. He never really used it and offered to give it to me. Last night I tried to install BW-10 but the instructions say I need to "Go to the download page link. The download link is given in your email receipt containing the BW10 activation code." I don't have the download page link and neither does my son. Does anyone have the download page link? If you do, could you please send it to me? Thanks.

Help with iso file
OK. I have a Mac, and since I updated to Catalina I can't run BW. So I deleted BW off my hd, because I had a backup iso. This morning I purchased a copy of Parallels. But when I try to install from the iso, Windows wants to reformat the drive it's stored on. What am I doing wrong? Is there a step-by-step procedure for installing BW on a Windows machine from an iso file? Or, if the file is somehow corrupt, can I re-download it? Any help would be appreciated!

* Couldn't somebody produce thumb drives with the program, on demand, for a nominal fee? You can buy a SanDisk 32 gig thumb drive on Amazon for $7. Add on $13 for the trouble of copying the file and putting in an envelope--or make it $18. $25 for a copy doesn't seem unreasonable.
Surely there's a better way to do things, no?

Possible to migrate a WORDsearch module from BW10 on Mac to BW10 on Windows?

I am running BW10 on Mac and also on Windows 10 via Parallels on the same Mac. In 2013 I purchased from WORDsearch Robert Culvers Systematic Theology for $49.95, for use with my BibleWorks software.
Yesterday, I reinstalled BibleWorks 10 on Windows 10 from the ISO file, and ran WORDsearch's WSBookInstallerBibleWorks.exe utility with my userID and PW. This utility downloads the purchased WORDsearch module for Culver's Systematic Theology, and makes it available to BW10. When I ran the utility, I got the error, "This Customer ID and Password has no remaining uses. Contact WORDsearch customer support." I have done so, but I am concerned about the likelihood of getting help, as the word "BibleWorks" no longer exists on WORDsearch's website. I worry that WORDsearch has moved on with the closure of BibleWorks -- I hope I am wrong.
Meanwhile, the installation of BW10 on my Mac still has Culver's Systematic Theology installed on it. Does anyone know how I might find the WORDsearch Culver Systematic Theology module files on my Mac BW10 installation and migrate them to my new BW10 installation on Windows 10?

: confuso: Formatee mi notebook, para poder instalar bible works 10 V7, no logro abrir por completo el programa, después de instalar se carga el inicio ,pero después desaparece, ya intente con BWCheckDisc.exe, y esta todo bien, borre toda la instalación y pasa lo mismo, ya es la quinta vez que trato de instalarlo, aunque se instala, se inicia, pero no carga.
Me tiene desesperado esta situación, ya vi en el foro algunas formas de instalación pero no me dan resultados, necesito ayuda urgente para resolver este gran problema.

Multiple installation media for BW 9
I purchased BibleWorks 9 from someone at a significant discount. It came with three sets of installation DVDs. They are labeled rev 2, rev 3 and rev 4. If I resell or give this to someone else do they have to install each set of DVDs? Or can they just use the latest one which I assume is rev 4.
